Blending fruit from the Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale, Padthaway and Wrattonbully, Bin 28 is a brilliant example of warm-climate Shiraz. The 2016 release has an exotic nose of dark fruit mainly consisting of blueberries and baked blackberries, followed by a palate laden with deep notes of damson and succulent black cherries. Most certainly not shy or retiring, this is full-bodied with strong but rounded tannins and a long, spicy finish. Hard to ignore for the price.
